Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
The CFI certificate allows you to teach and mentor the next generation of pilots while building valuable flight experience. Our program emphasizes strong instructional fundamentals, lesson planning proficiency, maneuver demonstration standards, and professional cockpit leadership.
What’s Included in the CFI Package This package features 30 hours of ground instruction and 10 hours of dual instruction, alongside all necessary learning materials. The package price is $6,427, payable in two installments of $3,213.50 (plus a 4% airport concession fee).
Training and Fees Additional hours beyond the package will incur standard hourly rates, though students may opt for discounted block time. All training is billed at current rates, and checkride coordination begins at the course midpoint.
Program Timeline Completion typically ranges from a 3-week accelerated path to several months, depending entirely on your personal availability.
Program Prerequisites Candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating and a valid FAA medical. Required written exams (CFI-A, FOI) and your spin endorsement can be completed during the training process.
Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
The CFII rating allows you to teach instrument students and significantly increases your instructional versatility and earning potential. This program focuses on IFR systems, regulations, approach procedures, scenario-based instruction, and advanced risk management.
What’s Included in the CFII Package The CFII package includes 10 hours of ground instruction, 10 hours of dual instruction, and all training materials for a single payment of $4,627 (plus a 4% airport concession fee).
Program Timeline The timeline is highly flexible, with completion ranging from just a few days for accelerated students to longer periods based on your schedule.
Program Prerequisites Applicants must hold an initial CFI certificate, a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating, and a valid FAA medical. The CFII written exam can be finished during your training.
