Over one intensive training week, you'll combine structured ground instruction with concentrated flight training, allowing you to build skills, reinforce procedures, and maintain momentum from one lesson to the next.
With two multi-engine aircraft, the program is intentionally limited to provide the aircraft availability and individualized instruction needed for an accelerated training experience.
Students receive training materials prior to the start date and are expected to arrive fully prepared.
Check rides are scheduled before you begin the training.

What is Included?
8 Hours Multi-Engine Dual Flight Training
Flight training in one of Avia's multi-engine aircraft focused on the maneuvers, procedures and decision-making required to become a proficient multi-engine pilot.
5 Hours Multi-Engine Ground School
Focused cohort ground instruction covering multi-engine aerodynamics, aircraft systems, performance, engine-out operations, emergency procedures and checkride preparation.
Pre-Arrival Training Materials
Students receive training materials before the cohort begins and are expected to arrive prepared so valuable training time can be spent applying—not introducing—the material.
Checkride Preparation
Structured oral and practical-test preparation designed to identify weak areas and build confidence before the checkride.
Coordinated Checkride Scheduling
Avia will work to coordinate practical-test scheduling prior to course commencement.

How it Works?
BEFORE MULTI WEEK
Once enrolled, you'll receive your study materials and preparation requirements. Come ready to discuss aircraft systems, multi-engine aerodynamics, procedures and limitations.
MONDAY — COHORT KICKOFF
Meet your instructor and fellow pilots, complete intensive multi-engine ground training and begin flight rotations.
TUESDAY–THURSDAY — FLY. BRIEF. PREPARE.
Individual flight blocks continue throughout the week, supplemented by briefings, ground review and checkride preparation.
FRIDAY — PUT IT TOGETHER
Final training, proficiency evaluation and practical-test preparation based on each pilot's individual progress.
A contingency training period may be used when necessary for weather.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I need more than eight flight hours?
Multi-engine training is proficiency-based. If additional flight or instructional time is needed to meet Avia's proficiency or checkride-readiness standards, additional training will be billed at Avia's standard aircraft and instructor rates.
Are the checkride fee and aircraft rental for the checkride included in the $4,995 tuition?
No. The DPE/examiner fee and aircraft rental associated with the practical test are not included in the $4,995 program tuition and will be paid separately.
Am I guaranteed to complete my Multi-Engine Add-On during Multi Week?
Avia Multi Week is designed as an accelerated training program, but completion can be impeded by the weather or individual proficiency.
What should I complete before Multi Week begins?
Enrolled pilots will receive required pre-arrival study materials and preparation instructions before the cohort begins. Because Multi Week is an accelerated program, students are expected to arrive prepared and ready to begin intensive multi-engine training.
How do I reserve my seat?
A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve one of the eight available seats. The deposit is applied toward the total program tuition of $4,995.
The remaining $3,995 balance is due no later than September 21, 2026, seven days before the September 28 cohort begins.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
The $1,000 reservation deposit is non-refundable, as your deposit secures one of the limited seats in the cohort and allows Avia to reserve aircraft and instructor capacity specifically for the program.
Cancellations made before September 21, 2026 will not be responsible for the remaining tuition balance; however, the $1,000 reservation deposit will not be refunded.
Once the remaining tuition balance is due on September 21, 2026, program tuition becomes non-refundable due to the limited cohort size and the aircraft, instructor, and scheduling resources committed to each participant.
If Avia Flight Academy cancels the Multi Week cohort, all program tuition and deposit amounts paid will be refunded in full.
Weather, aircraft maintenance, DPE availability, or other operational factors may require changes to the training or checkride schedule and do not, by themselves, constitute cancellation of the program.
Where is Avia Multi Week held?
The inaugural Avia Multi Week will be held at Avia Flight Academy's Oxford location at Waterbury-Oxford Airport in Oxford, Connecticut.
Who is eligible to enroll?
Avia Multi Week is intended for pilots who meet the FAA eligibility requirements for the Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On being sought. Avia will confirm eligibility and required documentation before the cohort begins.
What happens after I complete my Multi-Engine Add-On?
Pilots who want to continue building multi-engine experience can speak with the Avia team about multi-engine time building and MEI training opportunities.
